TollTag is the electronic toll system used by the NTTA in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area. It was the first toll system in North America when it was installed on the Dallas North Tollway in 1989. More than 4 million tolltags are currently in service in North Texas. The NTTA offers reduced tolls for TollTag users at all tolls. The account can be opened for only $5 per day with a minimum balance of $20. The account is charged if the balance is less than $10. The most important thing is that your unreased balance be returned to your account instead of using-it-or-lose-it third party agreements. Why don`t you send E-Mail-customerservice@ntta.org and let them know what you`re getting into? It will at least warn them to contact their website manager to resolve the issue. I also sent them a message about it.

The more they hear about the more likely interaction, the more likely they are to see this as something that needs to be corrected. I had here some great tips on tolls in the Dallas area. But my starting point, the ntta.org site is consistent from here at least down. Is it just a British problem or has someone deliberately e-bombed it? Different car rentals work with NTTA to provide all customers with toll road access or to offer customers an optional toll plan at the time of rental. Before taking a rental vehicle on NTTA roads, please ask your car rental manufacturer for its individual toll policy. If NTTA does not agree with a driver`s car rental company or if the driver chooses not to participate in the owner`s toll policy, the driver may be punished with NTTA offences and fines imposed on owners when using toll roads. Looks like your car rental company needs to have an agreement with NTTA to avoid additional charges. TTA began construction of its first toll bridge in 1977, the 4.0 km Mountain Creek Lake Bridge, which opened in 1979. The bridge spans Mountain Creek Lake in the southwestern city of Grand Prairie, Dallas County.

Simply manage your TollTag account (1) online, (2) via the free Tollmate mobile app or (3) by calling 972-818-NTTA (6882) or 817-731-NTTA (6882) or visiting an NTTA customer service center. The North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) is an organization that manages and operates roads, bridges and toll tunnels in the North Texas region. The NTTA, which acts as a political subdivision of the State of Texas pursuant to Section 366 of the Transportation Code, has the authority to acquire, build, maintain, repair and operate turnpike projects; raising capital for construction projects through the issuance of Turnpike revenue bonds; and collect tolls to exploit, maintain and pay debt charges for these projects. Work for me too, but sometimes this problem is with the browser. I use Safari (on a Mac), but I sometimes struggle with it. Test Firefox if you can. The site should be up in a few minutes; Please try again later. TollTags can be used on all NTTA roads and can also be used on any other toll road in the state of Texas, as well as for some parking lots in downtown Dallas to park or make tolls at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Dallas Love Airport (DAL). Current TollTags are small stickers, similar to those used for government inspections and automatic recordings, but cannot be moved between vehicles. The previous tolltag was a Hardcase day fixed on the windshield with Velcro closure labels; These beacons are still valid and can be moved between vehicles, but they are not real portable devices – they must be assigned to a single vehicle and, if moved to another vehicle, they require a new listing on the TollTag account. In 1979 began construction of the only TTA project outside the area, the 3.2 km Jesse Jones Memorial Bridge on the Houston Ship Range, with the bridge opening in 1982.

In 1994, TTA sold the bridge to the new Harris Toll Road Authority and retained all of TTA`s assets in
