You can use the student loan ONLY to pay your education expenses at the school that gives you the loan. Education expenses include tuition fees such as education, accommodation and food, indirect fees and expenses such as books, accessories, equipment, care costs for dependent children, transportation, and renting or purchasing a PC. Credit checks and co-signers are not required for direct loans from federal students. However, they cannot be late with a previous student loan, must repay other federal financial assistance, or be enrolled in less than 6 credit hours. Funds covered by this directive include all applicable federal, state and academic funds, including, but not limited to, Federal Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (SEOG), Federal Direct Loans, Federal Direct PLUS (Parent) Loans, Federal Work Study, Oklahoma`s Promise, OTAG and Tulsa Achieves.
